Netflix has dropped the first look official trailer for The Sandman TV series whic hwill arrive on the streaming service in August. The series is based on the 1989–1996 comic book written by Neil Gaiman and published by DC Comics.
Gaiman developed the series along with David S. Goyer and Allan Heinberg. It is set to be release on 5th August. The cast includes Tom Sturridge, Gwendoline Christie, Vivienne Acheampong, Boyd Holbrook, Charles Dance, Asim Chaudhry, and Sanjeev Bhaskar.
A rich blend of modern myth and dark fantasy in which contemporary fiction, historical drama and legend are seamlessly interwoven, The Sandman follows the people and places affected by Morpheus, the Dream King, as he mends the cosmic — and human — mistakes he’s made during his vast existence.
