Steve McQueen is coming at you full throttle with a film that’s being described as ‘Daring and stylish’, ‘mesmerising’ and amongst others ‘exquisite and emotive’.
McQueen will be directing the feature which is entitled SHAME. The film stars Michael Fassbender as Brandon, a New Yorker with a compulsive sex addiction. The film will offer an insight into Brandon’s relationship with his headstrong younger sister (Carey Mulligan) as she moves in with him. The pair begin to share memories of a painful past. Brandon’s narrow-minded attitude alters as his life spirals out of control.
SHAME is set for a release on the 2nd of December 2011 and judging from the trailer, it certainly looks as if it could be a very compelling watch.

On absolute tenterhooks for this movie. Hunger was incredible, and I know McQueen and Fassbender can pull it off again.
