The folks over at Kit Out My Office, an online retailer of office furniture, have updated their meeting room name generator to celebrate the launch of season 7 of Game of Thrones on Monday 17th July.
Users are able to choose from either popular House names, such as Stark and Baratheon, and locations seen within the TV series, such as King’s Landing, the capital of the Seven Kingdoms or Winterfell, the ancestral castle and seat of power of House Stark.
Research previously uncovered that 1 in 3 employees had found themselves walking into an awkward situation at work. Over half of those respondents cited walking into the wrong room accidently.
The result of the research undertaken by Kit Out My Office also revealed that over three quarters of those who had walked into the wrong room had done so because their meeting rooms weren’t named. This meant it was easy to go into the wrong room by accident.
Since its inception, the Meeting Room Name Generator has been used over 10,000 times for inspiration to name meeting rooms and boardrooms across the world.
