Music legend Prince has sadly passed away at the age of 57. The star was found at is Paisley Park home in Chanhassen, Minnesota on Thursday. He was just 57.
According to reports, Prince was taken to hospital just last week with flu-like symptoms.
A well as his 39 albums that he released during his long career, of which he sold over 100 million copies, Prince also appeared in the movies Purple Rain, Under The Cherry Moon, the Sign O’ The Times concert film and 1990’s Graffiti Bridge. He won a Best Original Score Oscar for his work on Purple Rain, and contributed to the iconic Batman album in the eighties.
The cause of death is still not known, but the story is developing. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and millions of fans around the world at this difficult time.
