Writer is hired for The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Warner Bros. have hired the talents of Max Borenstein to write the screenplay for The Man From U.N.C.L.E, a new film based on the 1960s TV show of the same name. David Dobkin is going to direct the movie, which will be produced by John Davis and Jeff Kleeman.

The Heat Vision blog reports:

Running from 1964-68 on NBC, the TV series featured the espionage adventures of Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, agents of United Network Command for Law Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.), who fight the forces of T.H.R.U.S.H. (Technological Hierarchy for the Removal of Undesirables and the Subjugation of Humanity).
