I love where the filmmakers are taking the planned LEGO Batman movie. So far we’ve got the vocal talents of Ralph Fiennes (Alfred the Butler), Will Arnett (Batman), Michael Cera (Robin), Rosario Dawson (Batgirl) and Zach Galifianakis (The Joker). Now you can add Mariah Carey to that list as Deadline report that the singer will voice Commissioner Gordon in the movie, which will hit cinemas in 2017.
The movie will be a spin-off from the brilliant LEGO Movie from last year, which was directed by Chris Miller and Phil Lord.
LEGO Batman will be directed by Chris Mackay and will arrive in cinemas on February 10th 2017.
The movie is the first of a new wave of LEGO movies. Warner Bros. will release LEGO: Ninjago in September 2017, and The LEGO Movie Sequel on May 18th 2018.
