Matt Smith has gone a bit Zombie mad since leaving the TARDIS. He’s already filming the adaptation of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, and now he’s to be cast in PATIENT ZERO opposite Natalie Dormer. PATIENT ZERO takes place in a post-apocalyptic zombie nightmare where a man is gifted with the ability to talk to the dead. Such a gift aids him in his journey to discover a cure for the disease so that he may save his infected wife.
ANATOMY and THE COUNTERFEITERS director, Stefan Ruzowitzky, helms the project scripted by Mike Le. Natalie Dormer, currently starring in THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART I, takes on the lead female role, although details have yet to be confirmed about character specifics. Meanwhile, Smith is proving to be quite the hot commodity, with upcoming roles in LOST RIVER and TERMINATOR GENISYS.
