Legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese’s latest collaboration with Leonardo DiCaprio sees them adapt the best-selling memoir of financial scoundrel Jordan Belfort, with a little help from The Sopranos/Boardwalk Empire writer/creator Terence Winter. THE WOLF OF WALL STREET has just been released in the US to great acclaim and only beaten to the top spot by Peter Jackson’s hairy-footed return of THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG.
The film charts the chaotic rise and fall of the promising stockbroker whose hard partying lifestyle and drug addiction ended in bankruptcy and hard time. The all-star cast includes Jonah Hill, Kyle Chandler, Matthew McConaughey, Jean Dujardin, Margot Robbie, Jon Bernthal and Rob Reiner.
Check out these two featurettes from the film arriving in the UK on the 17th January 2014. Expect to feature amongst the upcoming Oscar nominations.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
