No stranger to the family film director Robert Zemeckis has signed in to bring children’s book The Miraculous Journey Of Edward Tulane to life.
Written by Kate DiCamillo, the novel tells the story of porcelain rabbit Edward Tulane. Edward is extremely vain and only loves himself. Whilst on a voyage to London, Edward falls overboard and from there embarks on an amazing journey. He travels with hobos, works as a scarecrow, comforts a dying child and finally learns what it is to truly love.
Jeff Stockwell is on adaptation duties again having previously adapted the screenplay for BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA.
No more details have been released as of yet but we will keep you posted.
