We here at THN love a good comedy, especially when it’s filled with laughs, gaffs and mild violence. A.C.O.D. doesn’t look like it’ll disappoint.
Adam Scott (Parks And Recreation) stars as Carter, an Adult Child Of Divorce. Having managed to survive his horrifying, awkward childhood, Carter somehow has to reunite his parents for his younger brother’s wedding. Richard Jenkins (STEP BROTHERS) and Catherine O’Hara (FRANKENWEENIE) star as Carter’s impossible parents, while Clark Duke (KICK-ASS) features as the newly married brother. Mary Elizabeth Winstead (SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD), Jane Lynch (Glee), Jessica Alba (SIN CITY) and Amy Poehler (MEAN GIRLS) co-star.
Stu Zicherman directs and as this is his directorial debut it’ll be interesting to see where he takes it. We’re awaiting news of a release date.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.

How rude that Mary Elizabeth Winstead doesn’t get a top billing. Underrated actress. The movie does look good. The poster looks hideous.
