After a so-so reaction from Cannes, THE BLING RING from writer and director Sofia Coppola gets ever-closer for a full theatrical release and today we’ve got a great quad to share with you lot! The film is based around the fame-obsessed world of Los Angeles and – very specifically – a group of teenagers on a crime-spree in Hollywood. What makes this particularly interesting is that it’s based on true events and they stole more than £3m in luxury goods. Kind of impressive…not that we condone such behaviour, of course! Their victims included Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, and Rachel Bilson, and they became known as “The Bling Ring.”
THE BLING RING stars Emma Watson, Leslie Mann, Taissa Farmiga, Claire Julien, Israel Broussard, Katie Chang, Georgia Rock, and Gavin Rossdale. It’s due for release in the UK on July 5th and June 14th in the US. You can check out these great stills that we featured recently and also the UK Trailer! Here’s that quad:
