The ultimate in sci-fi movies (IMHO) is getting it’s ass remade. Yes, that film is TOTAL RECALL, and in 2011 it will kick into production with DIE HARD 4.0 helmer Len Wiseman directing.
We’ve just learned that the film will actually start filming in March at Pinewood, Toronto, Ontario in Canada. Get all of that? Colin Farrell is the man rumoured to be filling the ample shoes of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the $200 million (rumoured) budgeted flick.
The plot of the original revolved around the character of Quaid, who goes to a company to buy himself the ultimate virtual holiday. When it all goes wrong he has to venture off to Mars to ‘find’ his real self. Or does he?
TOTAL RECALL is based on the Phillip K. Dick novel, “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale.”
More news on this exciting project as we get it.
