Yesterday we gave you a look at the Mark 33 and Mark 40 suits from the upcoming IRON MAN 3. Now we have two more for you to look closely at. Here we have Mark 17 AKA Heartbreaker and Mark 38 AKA Igor. Igor made quite the impression during the trailer, and many fans took it to be the classic Hulkbuster suit, which Tony Stark used in the comics to take on The Hulk. No mater what their purpose is in the film, it at least means we can all buy a few more action figures.
IRON MAN 3 will follow Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) after the events of THE AVENGERS. He finds himself the target of international terrorist The Mandarin (Ben Kingsley). Shane Black has taken over directorial duties from Jon Favreau, who was understandably perturbed by the way IRON MAN 2 ended up as an extended intro for THE AVENGERS.
The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau, Ben Kingsley, and is co-written/directed by Shane Black . It’s released in the UK on the 26th April and in the US 3rd May.
