Watch the trailer for ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ with Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum

The film celebrates the famous moon landing of 1969.

A trailer for the upcoming feature Fly Me To The Moon with Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum has arrived courtesy of the folks over at Sony Pictures. The movie is based around the events surrounding the Apollo 11 moon landing in the late 1960s. The Fly Me To The Moon trailer can be seen below in all its glory.

Nick Dillenburg, Anna Garcia, Jim Rash, Noah Robbins, Colin Woodell, Christian Zuber, Donald Elise Watkins, Ray Romano and Woody Harrelson make up the rest of the cast of the movie which is directed by Greg Berlanti.

The film is described as a comey-drama set against the high-stakes backdrop of NASA’s historic Apollo 11 moon landing. Brought in to fix NASA’s public image, sparks fly in all directions as marketing maven Kelly Jones (Johansson) wreaks havoc on launch director Cole Davis’s (Tatum) already difficult task. When the White House deems the mission too important to fail, Jones is directed to stage a fake moon landing as back-up and the countdown truly begins…

The Fly Me To The Moon trailer arrives ahead of a release of the film on July 12th. This would line up just ahead of the 65th anniversary of the launch of the mission in 1969.
