Sylvester Stallone has signed up to lead the cast of a new serial killer film titled The Epiphany. The Rocky and Rambo star will return to Philadelphia, the setting for the original Rocky movie, for the crime thriller, reports Deadline.
The project will launch at the EFM in Berlin this week, so says the trade report. The article also has some details of the plot of the film which sounds very promising.
Stallone will reportedly play a hard-nosed, soon-to-retire police detective ‘who must team up with a younger cop and former priest to stop a serial killer on a murderous crusade through the streets of Philadelphia.’
Love the sound of that.
Will Eubank (Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin) will helm the film shooting from a screenplay by Katie Lovejoy and Russell Sommer.
Shooting will commence this summer, according to the report. More at the end of the link above.
Stallone can currently be seen in his superb documentary Sly on Netflix and the brilliant Tulsa King on Paramount+
