In THE SEEDING, a hiker lost in the desert takes refuge with a woman living alone, and soon discovers that she might not be there willingly.

Scott Haze and Kate Lyn Sheil lead the cast.
The film is directed by Barnaby Clay who had the following to say about his film:
“The Seeding deals with big themes, but in a small, contained way, almost like a brutal adult version of a children’s story or fable – something to bore under your skin and stick around for a while. I hope, like all great horror, it speaks some truth about human nature, even if its a side we’d rather not see.”
We reviewed the film at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival (link above) and called it a ‘microcosm of brutality, highlighting the futility of mankind in a frank and disturbing way.’
In The Seeding Barnaby Clay delves into some taboo arenas, thrusting them onto screen in a bold and challenging way. Those that accept the gauntlet of traumatic imagery will be forever changed as this is one story that clings to your very soul long after viewing.
From our review of the film on the festival circuit.
Sound good, right?
The film his US VOD and cinemas from 26th January.
