As per Deadline, Ryan Reynolds and Sir Kenneth Branagh are set to star together in Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley’s Mayday over at Apple and Skydance. The action adventure film is currently in development with Goldstein and Daley (Dungeons and Dragons: Honour Among Thieves) at the helm, directing from their own screenplay.
The film has yet to get a production start date, but is likely to go before the cameras once Reynolds has wrapped on the Deadpool 3 movie he’s currently shooting for Marvel Studios.
Reynolds was seen in the Apple Christmas movie Spirited last year, and also has a feature titled Imaginary Friends set to street in the near future. Branagh, meanwhile, will next be seen in Christopher Nolan’s epic Oppenheimer, which is set to bow next month.
