Pedro Pascal is said to be in final negotiations to join the cast of Ridley Scott’s soon-to-begin-shooting Gladiator 2 over at Paramount Pictures. The film also stars Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, Joseph Quinn, Connie Nielsen, and Denzel Washington (what a cast).
It isn’t known who Pascal will play in the film as yet, though.
Ridley Scott returns to direct the follow up which comes some 24 years after the debut of the original movie which starred Russell Crowe in an Oscar-winning performance. Gladiator was nominated for 12 Academy Awards in all, winning five. It was also a massive commercial hit, scoring $503.2 million at the global box office.
More on this one as it comes our way.
