Verve is to distribute the Mark Rylance-starring independent film Inland in the UK. The film premiered at last year’s London Film Festival to good reviews and I’m pleased it is finally getting to a wider audience following that limited debut.
Fridtjof Ryder directed the film, which is set in the English city of Gloucester. Rory Alexander and Kathryn Hunter are also among the cast. The feature follows a lost, young man (Alexander) who returns to his old life following the disappearance of his mother and a spell in a psychiatric unit.

Looking at reports online, it looks like Inland will be released by Verve in the UK and Ireland in June, so not long to wait.
Here’s the trailer.
