A full trailer has debuted for Paint, a new film led by Owen Wilson about a public TV painter named Carl Nargle.
Owen plays the role of Nargle, Vermont’s #1 public TV painter who is convinced he has it all: a signature perm, custom van, and fans hanging on his every stroke… until a younger, better artist steals everything (and everyone) Carl loves.
IFC Films will open the film stateside with hopefully a UK release destined for later in the year.
Michaela Watkins, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ciara Renee, Lusia Strus, Stephen Root, and Lucy Freyer co-star in the film, which is directed by Brit McAdams, who also wrote the screenplay.
Here’s the U.S. trailer for the film which opens there on 7th April.
