Chad Stahelski, the filmmaker who directed John Wick with David Leitch, and all of the sequels solo, is set to helm the movie adaptation of the Rainbow Six video game. The film will be led by Michael B. Jordan as Navy SEAL, John Clark, who he played in 2021’s Without Remorse, the Prime Video movie that was actually rather good.
Deadline reports that it isn’t known whether the film will head to the big screen or go to streaming, but Paramount Pictures will decide on that in due course, no doubt.
The series of games are first-person shooters, hugely popular on the various platforms in which they have been released.
There aren’t any plot details to hand for the movie as yet.
Stahelski’s next film is the March-released John Wick: Chapter 4 with Keanu Reeves.
