Check out this teaser trailer for the upcoming Paramount+ TV series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies which, of course, is a precursor to the famous musical and movie starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.
From what I can tell, the new show is set in 1954, well before Danny and Sandy attend the famous Rydell High School where they fell in love. What is present, as you may tell from the teaser, are some of the famous songs from the musical that precedes it.
The cast incudes Marisa Davila, Cheyenne Isabel Wells, Ari Notartomaso, Tricia Fukuhara, Shanel Bailey, Madison Thompson, Johnathan Nieves, Jason Schmidt, Maxwell Whittington-Cooper and Jackie Hoffman ..
This new musical comedy series arrives on the streamer later this April 7th and is sure to be high on the watch lists of fans of the original work.
