It’s here! First trailer for ‘Indiana Jones and The Dial Of Destiny’

Finally, we have a teaser trailer for the fifth film in the Indiana Jones series, which has now been confirmed to be called Indiana Jones and The Dial Of Destiny. Not too sure of that moniker, but let’s roll with it for now.

Harrison Ford returns to the title role as the legendary archaeologist and adventurer, this time joined by the likes of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Antonio Banderas, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, and Toby Jones.

Directed by James Mangold, the film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel, with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serving as executive producers. John Williams, who has scored each Indy adventure since the original Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981, is once again composing the score.

Plot details are thin, but it is thought that the action takes place during the space race in the 1960s. As the trailer shows, we get a bit of stuff taking place back in the 1940s with a heavily de-aged Ford. Looks great so far.

The film hits cinemas on 30th June 2023.

Here’s the trailer.
