‘The Gentlemen’ sequel TV series coming with Theo James heading the cast

A sequel TV series following on from Guy Richie’s The Gentlemen is on the way. Richie’s England-set crime movie was released in 2019 with the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, and Hugh GRant among the superb cast.

The film was a huge success making over $115 million from a modest $22 million budget.

Theo James has been confirmed to be leading out the main cast in the Netflix-bound TV series as Eddie Halstead, “who has inherited his father’s sizeable estate only to discover that it’s sitting on top of a weed empire owned by the legendary Mickey Pearson (played by Matthew McConaughey in the movie),” so reports Deadline.

Richie is executive producing the series having co-wrote the pilot with Matthew Read (McMafia). Shooting is reportedly set to start next week in London.
