A new Saw movie, the tenth in the series, is said to be in the works over at Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures. Bloody Disgusting announced the news on their site late on Monday.
The announcement comes after the release of Sprial: From The Book Of Saw which was eventually released last year following a delay due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The movie, the ninth in the series, which starred Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson, took in a decent $40 million at the global box office, which looks like it was more than enough to warrant another movie.
There are no plot details for the planned tenth movie in the run, but BD reports that Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter director Kevin Greutert is coming back to helm.
The exact release date is 27th October, 2023, so just in time for Halloween, then.
