A trailer for the TV version of the classic James Cameron movie True Lies has just been released online by CBS. The show debuts on screens later this year with a whole new cast.
Steve Howey and Ginger Gonzaga lead the cast, alongside Erica Hernandez, Omar Miller, Mike O’Gorman, Annabella Didion, and Lucas Jaye. Matt Nix (Burn Notice) wrote the first episode and is showrunner on the debut series.
THe original film starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Cutis and was a huge success back in 1994.
Here’s the synopsis for the new series:
Shocked to discover that her bland and unremarkable computer consultant husband is a skilled international spy, an unfulfilled suburban housewife is propelled into a life of danger and adventure when she’s recruited to work alongside him to save the world as they try to revitalize their passionless marriage.
