Daniel Roher’s documentary ‘Navalny’ set for UK release through Dogwoof

Dogwoof has announced that it will release Daniel Roher’s (Once Were Brothers) Navalny in the UK following its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival back in January. The film will be released in cinemas from 20th May 2022, according to an official press release.

Daniel Roher follows Alexei Navalny and his close-knit team as they navigate the months after his poisoning – events that stunned the world – to find the truth about what happened to him, and the implications for his future. Offering a gripping insight into the fearless and charismatic politician who stood up to Vladimir Putin.

The word from the festival circuit is pretty good for this one and we’re looking forward to seeing it on these shores in just a couple of months’ time.

No official trailer from Dogwoof as yet but here’s a festival trailer that was posted earlier this month on CPH: DOX YouTube.
