‘For Wes’ – new featurette celebrates 25 years of the ‘Scream’ franchise

Paramount Pictures has released a brand new featurette celebrating the 25 years that the horror franchise Scream has been lighting up our screens. A new movie is due in January, but this video honors the legendary director Wes Craven who started it all back in 1996.

Ghostface in Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group’s “Scream.”

The new film is due out on 14th January, and here’s what it is all about.

Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past. Neve Campbell (“Sidney Prescott”), Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) and David Arquette (“Dewey Riley”) return to their iconic roles in Scream alongside Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar.

James Vanderbilt & Guy Busick wrote the screenplay for the new movie with Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett directing.

Here’s the tribute featurette.
