Warner Bros. Pictures has debuted a trailer for 8-Bit Christmas, a new movie coming to the small screen later this month. Now, it depends on where you live as to where you’ll be able to access this one. It will be available on HBO Max, where available, and on-demand in other territories, including the UK. The cast includes Neil Patrick Harris, Winslow Fegley, June Diane Raphael, David Cross, and Steve Zahn.
8-Bit Christmas is a humorous and heartfelt look back at the adventures of childhood. Set in suburban Chicago in the late 1980s, the story centers on ten-year-old Jake Doyle’s herculean quest to get the latest and greatest video game system for Christmas.
Michael Dowse (Coffee & Kareem) directed the film from a screenplay by Kevin Jakubowski, based on his book of the same name.
The film hits on-demand in the UK from 26th November. It’ll come to HBO Max a couple of days before on 24th November.
Here’s the trailer.
