The winners of the 2021 Cannes Film Festival have been announced following a lavish closing ceremony on Saturday evening in the south of France. Taking the top prize, the Palme d’Or in the official selection was Titane, the latest film from Julia Ducournau. The film has been picked up for distribution by Film4 and Altitude later this year.
Picking up the Grand Prix was Ashgar Farhadi’s latest, Ghahreman (A Hero), while Le Caraz picked up Best Director for the big Cannes 2021 opener, musical Annette.
