You may have seen that we have been promoting the latest chapter in the Saw series, Spiral: From The Book Of Saw by way of a few interviews over the past couple of days. Well, now we can present the opening scene from the movie which has just been released by Lionsgate.
Opening next week, ‘Spiral’ is the latest instalment in the hit franchise; the ninth movie in the series. Chris Rock (Fargo), Max Minghella (The Handmaid’s Tale, The Social Network), Marisol Nichols (Riverdale) and Samuel L. Jackson (Captain Marvel) lead the cast of the film, which is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV).
Here’s the official synopsis: A criminal mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in Spiral, the terrifying new chapter from the book of Saw. Working in the shadow of his father, an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
