I do like a Harlan Coben novel. If you’ve not ever read one then do try and pick one up as you’ll never regret it. They are impossible to put down and twists and turns lie at the end of pretty much every chapter. One of said books, The Innocent, is just about to hit Netflix screens in the form of a new limited series, the trailer for which has just been released by the streamer.
The synopsis of The Innocent is as follows.
One night, Matt innocently tried to break up a fight and ended up an homicide. Now, nine years later, he’s trying to start from scratch with Olivia, his wife. A shocking call from Olivia’s phone while she’s on a business trip unsettles Matt, and he will start a frenetic race to discover the truth. His innocence will be questioned again, this time by Lorena, a police inspector investigating a suicide case.
I’m not aware of the source material for this particular one, but this TV version looks great. It lands at the end of the month on 30th April. Watch the trailer below.
