The 2021 Oscar nominations have been announced. Leading the charge this year with a huge ten nominations is David Fincher’s Netflix movie Mank, while Minari, The Father, Nomadland, Sound Of Metal, Judas and the Black Messiah, and The Trial Of The Chicago 7 all scored six nominations. Promising Young Woman walked away with five.
All of the aforementioned movies are up for the Best Picture award.
This year’s nominations included two women in the best director category, the first time in Oscar history. Chloé Zhao and Emerald Fennell will go up ahead Thomas Vinterberg, David Fincher, and Lee Isaac Chung in the category.
It’s a fine list this year, and we’ve included all of the nominations below. The awards will be dished out on 25th April.
