Trailer for incoming new film ‘Summer of ’72’

AKA Tuscaloosa in some territories.

Check out this new trailer for a film coming to digital platforms on February 1st, Summer of ‘72. The film stars Natalia Dyer, Devon Bostick, and Tate Donovan, has also gone by the name of Tuscaloosa in some territories where is has already seen a release.

A beautiful yet relevant romance about love and diversity in an allegory of America today, starring Stranger Thing’s Natalia Dyer. 1972. War protests and racial tension sizzle in the late summer heat of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Recent college grad Billy (Devon Bostick) spends the summer working on the grounds of an asylum run by his psychiatrist father (Tate Donovan). As Billy falls for Virginia (Natalia Dyer), a patient at his father’s institute, his best friend Nigel (Marchánt Davis) becomes involved with a radical civil rights activist against Tuscaloosa’s power elite – including Billy’s father. Summer of ’72 is a film with youthful romance and overtones of social unrest that tackle the difficult topics that are as relevant in today’s world as they were in 1972.
