Apple TV+ and A24 have released a new video for the documentary Boys State, a film which first premiered at Sundance earlier this year, which is available to watch on the Apple streaming platform now.
From filmmakers Jesse Moss and Amanda McBaine, the sensational winner of the Grand Jury Prize for documentary at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Boys State is a wildly entertaining and continually revealing immersion into a week-long annual program in which over a thousand Texas high school seniors gather for an elaborate mock exercise: building their own state government.
See the documentary that has Senator Cory Booker, Cindy McCain, Kerry Kennedy, Congressman Joaquin Castro, Academy Award Nominee Cynthia Erivo calling it a “must see.” Follow the escalating tensions that arise within a particularly riveting gubernatorial race and meet unforgettable teenagers like Ben, a Reagan-loving arch-conservative who brims with confidence despite personal setbacks, and Steven, a progressive-minded child of Mexican immigrants who stands by his convictions amidst the sea of red. Watch “Boys State” now, exclusively on Apple TV+ and remember to Vote!
