Here’s a look at the upcoming My Zoe, a new film starring Julie Delpy, Richard Armitage, Daniel Brühl and Gemma Arterton. This one will be released in the UK from 5th October through Signature Entertainment. The film had its world premiere nearly a year ago at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival. Julie Delpy also directs the film from a screenplay she also wrote.
Here’s the story: Isabelle (Julie Delpy) is a divorcee recovering from a toxic marriage but still forced into contact with her ex (Richard Armitage) because they are co-parenting their daughter Zoe. When tragedy strikes this fractured family, Isabelle – a top-level scientist – takes matters into her own hands an unexpected and shocking way.
