A new trailer for Blackbird, the Roger Michell-directed drama starring Susan Sarandon and Sam Neill has debuted online ahead of a rollout Stateside in December. This one we caught at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and it is well worth seeking out if you can. The film is actually a remake of a 2014 Danish film called Silent Heart and revolves around a family who are brought together after the mother, Lily (Sarandon) decides to end her life after battling ALS. The Blackbird trailer can be viewed below.
