We’ve already reviewed this one but thought we’d share the new trailer for the lockdown movie Host which is now available on Shudder. The film revolves around six friends who hire a medium to hold a séance over Zoom during lockdown, but they get far more than they bargain for as things quickly go wrong. When an evil spirit starts invading their homes, they begin to realize they might not survive the night.
We loved this one with our own Kat Hughes calling the film a ‘wonderfully surprising venture that may make you reassess your own lockdown achievements, Host is an exceptional example of the spirit of film-making. Global pandemic? That’s not going to stop the film industry, not when there are realised ideas as innovative and as well made at this one.’
You can read our full review of the film at the end of the link and check out the trailer to get you up for it in the player below. Host is streaming on Shudder now.
