News broke over the weekend that various Marvel Studios release dates were shifting due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak that has forced cinemas to close pretty much all over the world. As expected, every release in the Marvel release schedule has had to shift and we can now bring you full details on each titles’ debut date.
Black Widow was expected to be released in just a few weeks on 1st May, but that movie will now arrive in cinemas on 6th November, a date originally occupied by The Eternals. That movie will shift to early next year with 12th February 2021 set. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten-Rings will now premiere on 7th May 2021 while Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will land on 5th November 2021.

Thor: Love and Thunder will have a release on 8th May 2022, while Black Panther 2 will arrive on 8th May (a date not affected as yet), and then a previously unannounced sequel to Captain Marvel which will take flight on 8th July 2022.
So that’s the next two years mapped out completely in terms of Marvel Studios release dates. This is all in addition to the various Disney+ premieres set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe which currently include The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, with Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, WandaVision with Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kathryn Hahn, Randall Park, Kat Dennings, and Teyonah Parris, and Loki with Tom Hiddleston, and Owen Wilson. All of these start to roll out on Disney’s streaming service starting later in 2020 through to the start of 2021. Each series consists of six episodes, supposedly varying in length.
We’ll be sure to bring you up to date on any of these Marvel Studios release dates if they suddenly change due to the ongoing global situation.
