There have been some incredible finds on these shows, making them addictive viewing for fans the world over.

Getting storage for your belongings can be an extremely helpful way of storing items if you’re moving house, or even if you have a business – but sometimes these units become abandoned. That’s where the people featured on these television shows come in – units which have been abandoned go to auction with the highest bidder winning the contents. Below are some of the best things to ever be found in a Storage Wars unit.

‘My Little Pony’ collection

Jarrod and Brandi starred in the show back in 2014 and experienced a great win when they won a storage unit for $50 in one show. Inside was a complete My Little Pony collection – one of the best finds ever on Storage Wars. The pair took the collection to a valuer to be told it was worth almost $1000.

Mint condition comic book collection

Comic books in brand new condition are renowned for being of great value – so it’s no wonder Darrell Sheets knew he’d hit the jackpot when he won a unit containing a full comic book store inventory. It wasn’t just books in the collection, though. Darrell discovered original boxed action figures which had never before been touched – an incredible find and one of the best on Storage Wars.

Professional clown costume

One of the more odd things to be found on the show – Kenny discovered a full-blown professional clown costume with all the trimmings was in a storage locker he won. The costume came with shoes, loads of accessories and even a helium tank. In this episode of Storage Wars, Kenny meets a professional clown in a private club to see if the outfit is worth anything.

Collection of artwork

In season three of Storage Wars, bidder Darrell discovered a huge collection of art in his unit. It was a collection of work from contemporary artist Frank Gutierrez valued at around $300,000 making it the biggest and best find since the show began. But where and who did it come from? Whether it was a collector looking to sell on, or a fan, this abandoned unit was a huge loss but turned into Darrell’s gain.

Which finds on Storage Wars have been your favourite? Ranging from jackpot discoveries all the way through to the weird and wonderful, there have been some amazing items unearthed on the show. The show is a real reminder to keep up the payments on your storage locker – you don’t want to see your own valuable belongings ending up on Storage Wars!
