20th Century Fox has just dropped the brand new trailer for the new installment in the Terminator franchise, Terminator: Dark Fate. The release of the film is drawing ever nearer with the big-budget feature set to explode on our screens on 23rd October. Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger head up the cast of the film, which is directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool).
Director Tim Miller has said: “I remember watching T2 in Westwood when I had just moved to LA – it was an amazing experience. I was particularly stoked because Jim had done Aliens a few years before and it is – hands down – my favorite action movie of all time. It blew my mind, as it was unlike any sci-film I had ever seen – it felt like a grounded, realistic and gritty future. And of course, T2 was just as amazing and continuing that franchise is more of an honor than I could ever imagine.”

He added:
“Seeing Arnold and Linda on set, in a scene together for the first time was fantastic. Watching the monitors, in as much awe as any nerd would be in my shoes, it was hard to believe it was happening. I’d get lost watching the take and then every thirty seconds it would hit me again, “Holy shit, I’m making a Terminator movie!”
Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta are also amongst the cast of the movie, which is produced by James Cameron and David Ellison. Cameron shares a story credit on the flick, along with Charles Eglee, Josh Friedman, David Goyer, and Justin Rhodes. The filmmaker thanked fans on Twitter ahead of the trailer debut.
I’m so grateful for the support from the @Terminator fans over all these years. Working with Linda and Arnold brings back so many fond memories. Thank you to everyone for sharing your memories today using #JudgmentDay. I can’t wait for you to see #TerminatorDarkFate.
