When you ask a girl out, you have two main options. One is to come up with something non-standard, and the second one is to choose a well-checked cultural program, which includes a cozy restaurant, a walk in the nearest park, and a romantic movie. Talking about the latter one, Ukrainian girls will be pleased to enjoy a watch party of upcoming romcoms with their beloved men, holding hands and kissing from time to time. The end of 2018 and 2019 will be full of interesting premieres.
Cult filmmakers and young debutants will present to the audience new visions of the cinematic production. A viewer will also be able to get acquainted with new characters, feel the unpredictability of uncommon storylines, and, as always, enjoy good acting. Here are several romcoms that you should see in 2018-2019.
- 303
It is a romantic and witty road movie by one of the best directors of the newest German cinema, Hans Weingartner.
24-year-old student Yule gets in an old camper Mercedes 303 and goes across Europe to meet her boyfriend Alex. Her random passenger is Jan, a student of political science who dreams of finding a biological father in Spain. While the landscapes of Germany, Belgium, France, and Portugal alternate outside the window, the heroes pass the time talking about everything in the world. They argue, quarrel, and get attached to each other more and more. They are not going to fall in love, but how can they resist this feeling when they are young, and the world around them is amazingly beautiful?
- Isn’t It Romantic?
It is an American romantic comedy movie directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson.
Architect Natalie works in one of the leading construction firms in New York, but no matter how hard she tries, only organizational issues are entrusted to her. In addition to a total failure in the career, a woman doesn’t have a personal life. Natalie has been a skeptic since a young age, and love at first sight seemed to her a fool’s errand. The girl treats any romantic manifestations bad, but, ironically, she is caught in the middle of the original amorous story.
Isn’t it romantic? is a charming comedy about the vicissitudes of fate. According to the director, this picture is very close to everyday life. He argues that watching movies plays a huge role in everyone’s personal life because many people are trying to transfer the ideal relationship from the screen to their homes. Unfortunately, this is rarely possible, so viewers need to look at unvarnished life with humor.
- Night School
It is a romantic picture directed by Malcolm D. Lee will show you the difficulty of choosing.
Teddy Walker is going to pop the question to his beloved one in the store after-hours. He creates a romantic atmosphere with candles, fruit, and champagne. However, his plans are ruined due to the explosion caused by the cork which fell into the gas pipe. Teddy faces a difficult situation. He must compensate the employer for loss, but he doesn’t have such a big amount of money. To save the day and stay out of prison, Walker turns for help to a friend, who has a leading position in a prestigious company. The man agrees to help Teddy, but it suddenly turns out that he has not graduated from school, and this becomes an insurmountable obstacle to his employment. The only opportunity to become a financial advisor is a night school. Realizing that there is no other way out, Teddy starts visiting an educational institution.
