A remake of the 1993 movie Indecent Proposal is in the works over at Paramount Players. The studio, according to Deadline, has set The Girl On The Train and Fur screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson to pen a new version of the drama, which starred Woody Harrelson, Demi Moore and Robert Redford.
In the original movie, which was directed by Adrian Lyne, Harrelson and Moore played a happily married young couple who were propositioned by Redford’s lavish billionaire. The indecent proposal of the title was to Harrelson – $1 million for one night with his wife.
The two go through with it and take the money, but the fallout from that night has a devastating impact on the couple’s relationship.
No time frame on the new version, but we’ll keep you posted.
