Adam Sandler is set to star in the film Uncut Gems for the Safdie brothers, Josh and Bennie, the directors of last year’s hugely acclaimed Cannes fave Good Time. He will join the already cast Jonah Hill in the project, so reports Deadline.
The plot details for Uncut Gems are being kept under wraps, but the story is said to be set in Diamond District in New York City, and will be inspired by the brothers’ father’s time working in the district.
