It’s a festive staple and I don’t care what the internet says, it’s definitely a Christmas movie. Die Hard will play in our house over the month of December multiple times forever, and if you’re yet to screen it in front of your family this year, this new fan-made trailer may get you into the mood for sitting down and watching Bruce Willis’ finest hour.

In the film, if you need a recap, New York City policeman John McClane (Bruce Willis) is visiting his estranged wife (Bonnie Bedelia) and two daughters on Christmas Eve. He joins her at a holiday party in the headquarters of the Japanese-owned business she works for. But the festivities are interrupted by a group of terrorists who take over the exclusive high-rise, and everyone in it. Very soon McClane realizes that there’s no one to save the hostages — but him.
The Unsusal Suspect YouTube channel has just uploaded a re-edit of the Die Hard trailer, cut in the style of Edgar Wright’s superb 2017 movie, Baby Driver. Cue cool music, gunshots firing at the beat and some rather clever quick-fire cutting and you’ve got one of the best movie promos I’ve seen for quite a while.
Take a look at this.
