Writer/ director Rian Johnson has taken to the socials to confirm that post-production work on Star Wars: The Last Jedi has officially wrapped.
Writing on Instagram, the Looper and Brick director said: “Aaaand that’s a wrap on the hardest working post production team in the galaxy. Going to miss sitting in dark rooms with these goobers.”
The film is not due in cinemas for another three months, so Johnson is well ahead of schedule. We guess that now the hardest part of the job starts – promotion.

What we are due though, is a new trailer as so far we’ve only been treated to the teaser, which debuted online months ago back in April.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro, and will be released in cinemas on December 15th, 2017.
Here’s that first trailer if, somehow, you missed it.
