Nicolas Winding Refn is set to co-write and direct a new Amazon TV series called Too Old To Die Young, so reports Variety.
The trade bible reports that the series will be in the same vein as his Pusher trilogy and will explore the criminal underbelly of Los Angeles as we follow various characters’ existential journeys from killers to avenging angels.
Refn will write the series with Ed Brubaker, and three notable male actors have already been offered roles.
Refn’s last film was the Cannes opener The Neon Demon. Too Old To Die Young will reportedly hit the streaming service in 2018.
