Wolf Hall leads the nominations for this year’s BAFTA TV Awards after dominating the Craft Awards nominations which were announced yesterday. Also in the top best drama series category are Humans, The Last Panthers, and No Offence.
In the best actor category, Luther’s Idris Elba will face off against Wolf Hall‘s Mark Rylance, alongside Ben Whishaw for London Spy and Stephen Graham for This Is England ’90.
In the actress category, Claire Foy is nominated for her work in Wolf Hall, alongside Sheridan Smith (The C-Word), Suranne Jones (Doctor Foster) and Ruth Madeley (Don’t Take My Baby).
The awards will be dished out on the 8th May at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
