Continuing with the production of live-action fairytales, Disney have reportedly purchased a script based around the backstory of Prince Charming, with the intention of carrying on with their trend.
Matt Fogel (Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son) has penned the script, with Alex Young (The A Team), David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman (both producers for Beauty And The Beast) and Tripp Vinson (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters) on board to produce.
Having already transformed the stories of Maleficent, Cinderella, Oz The Great and Powerful and Alice In Wonderland into epic live-action adventures (with Beauty And The Beast in the works) Disney have obviously found another facet of the market to milk. If it’s not broken don’t fix it, eh?
