A new police drama is coming to CBS from the man who helped bring us Nashville.
R. J. Cutler will direct and produce the as yet unnamed drama, which follows a homicide detective in Los Angeles.
The character has always denied his ethnicity has any bearing on his life, however when he’s put in charge of a high profile racially motivated murder because he’s black, he starts to question everything. The script’s written by Joe Robert Cole (AMBER LAKE).
It certainly sounds topical. But will the angle be enough to make it a hit?
